KristianLindbom.com Announces Fundraiser E-Store

As a boy, Kristian Lindbom was asked by his parents to choose between go karts or horses. Kristian chose horses, his dad chose go karting.

Seldom did anyone think the quirky child would grow up to be the Australian Go Karting champion, progressing his career into faster engines in Formula Ford and Formula 3. Ambition kept Lindbom winning and moving forward, however financial barriers have kept him working trackside for a V8 Supercar team, rather than racing.

One of Australia’s most talented open wheeler drivers without a drive..? Something didn’t add up.

With a leap of faith, Lindbom then threw a Formula 3 drive in Darwin, Australia onto his credit card after almost two years of retirement  and won the round, leaving everyone astounded (including his 10kg overweight jelly belly!)

This earned Lindbom immediate invitations to test for the 2012 season in GP3 in Europe, and test days for Walkinshaw and Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport in Australia for V8 Supercars.

In the last 2 months, Lindbom has quit his job to focus on training twice daily and fundraising for his GP3 drive. The team at www.kristianlindbom.com have acquired some ‘money can’t buy’ experiences, alongside gifts appropriate for Christmas, thanks to supportive donors.

We invite you check out what is on offer in our online fundraiser auction to raise funds for Kristian Lindbom’s testing, these include ‘Money can’t buy experiences’ from some of Australia’s top sportspeople and businesses (think breakfast with Garth Tander and Nick Percat, through to a trendy hair chop in a top Melbourne salon, the deals are endless!)
